Chinese New Year, known in China as Spring Festival, is the most important of the traditional Chinese holidays and is sometimes called the Lunar New Year.
The festival traditionally begins on the first day of the first lunar month in the Chinese calendar. This year it begins on the 26th January and runs until the 10th of February. This year Tsingtao supported a number of China Town celebrations across the country as well as conducting promotions in city centre bars and restaurants.
