Tsingtao recently sponsored the ‘Leeds Guide Pan-Asian Food Awards’ – a celebration of some of West Yorkshire’s finest Pan-Asian eateries.

Judges were selected from various media types and business people throughout Leeds, all of whom with a passion for fine dining, and specifically, of course, Asian cuisine – including representatives from Tsingtao Beer.

Once fully sated from the courses previously served, the judges retired to a room just alongside the dining area to confer and decide upon each winner. With the scores being so very close (just six points between the first and sixth placed restaurants) it took some time, a little bit of arguing and a fair amount of organisation for the nine judges to all be happy with the choices. At long last they were, and the prize giving was all ready to take place.
